Warren Henry Auto Group hosts a Give Back to Kids Tour for the Overtown Youth Center

North Miami, FL (September 2nd, 2021) – Warren Henry Auto Group offered a special day for the students from the Overtown Youth Center. The day consisted of giving back to the students in our local community to encourage both high school and post-high school students to one day work in the automotive industry. Warren Henry Auto Group has been family-owned and operated for 45 years with strong ties to the community. Warren Henry Auto Group has always been heavily involved and dedicated to helping at-risk youths to grow and achieve their goals to create a successful future for themselves. The Overtown Youth Center is a youth development program that provides comprehensive services to at-risk youth from ages 5 to 25 years old and to their families, who live in some of the most underserved neighborhoods in South Florida.

This past Friday, August 20th, 2021, the students from the Overtown Youth Center came for a visit to our new location in North Miami, FL. Students were provided a tour of the several departments throughout the dealership; presenting students with options of different careers paths and stories of how each employee started their career. Our hope is to encourage them to not only stay in school but to remain in the Miami community to continue to support their local community. An important part of the visit was when the students spend quite a bit of time with Larry Zinn, Warren Henry Auto’s Executive General Manager. The students engaged with Larry asking him questions like how he got started and why he chose automotive. “The questions they asked were refreshing and innocent allowing me to reminisce on why I chose automotive and how I excited I am to see these students potentially come work with us in the future,” said Larry Zinn.

The day ended with a contest during lunch where students were asked key points of the day. The winners were excited to receive branded items from our Bugatti Broward and Lamborghini Broward stores. As the tour concluded and we said our goodbyes, the students were given a gift bag with items geared towards supporting them in going back to school. “The smile on the students’ faces reminded me of the importance for us to take the time to always give back”, stated Larry Zinn, Executive General Manager Warren Henry Auto Group. Larry Zinn has always found education and family to be an essential foundation to creating a strong and successful career.” Realistically, not every child grows up with these same opportunities, which is why we wanted to help donate to the Overtown Youth Center helping create possibilities for the students”, shared Larry Zinn.
