President and CEO of Warren Henry Auto Group, South Florida’s premier automotive group, Warren Henry Zinn epitomizes ‘carrying on the family legacy.’ His renowned work ethic and attention to detail allows him to be truly recognized in the retail sales and service industry. It is unquestionable that Warren is a community man, astute businessman and a family man to his core.
The Zinn family has a long history within the automotive industry, beginning in 1955 when Warren’s father, David Zinn sold Lincolns in the Bronx, later selling Chevys in Miami Beach and eventually opening Florida’s first Toyota dealership in 1965. Warren was born with an innate passion for cars – from the time he began to talk he knew the brand names of cars. As a child, Warren spent many years learning the family business with his father. These earlier experiences strengthened his passion for cars, inspired him to attend automotive college and gave him the tools needed to understand the many facets of the automotive business.
Warren started building his career in the automotive industry in 1976 at the age of 21. Now a 42-year industry veteran, Warren Henry Auto Group encompasses seven franchise locations in Florida, ranging from Miami-Dade to Gainesville, including Jaguar, Land Rover, Infiniti, Audi, Lamborghini, Koenigsegg, Toyota, Ford, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram and Warren Henry Pre-owned.
Warren is no stranger to persistence. Since his first opening, he has made it a point to stay with the times, creating an environment that is known for its superior products, community involvement, and for helpful, courteous, and caring associates dedicated to building client relationships and delivering an unparalleled service experience. Warren understands that he must adapt to an ever-changing industry, match and exceed clients’ expectations, and keep team members challenged and satisfied. This notion has proven successful and is exemplified by the high consumer service scores, tight-knit team of long-term associates and undeniable growth of the organization. The average employee tenure is 12-plus years; several have been with the company more than 25 years.
Warren generously supports a wide variety of philanthropic organizations throughout South Florida including Mount Sinai Medical Center, Beth Torah Benny Rok Campus, 100 Black Men of South Florida, Inc., March of Dimes, David L. Singer Memorial Foundation, Diabetes Research Foundation, United Way, Mourning Family Foundations, Tournament of Campions, LLC. (Warren Henry High School Football Award), Special Olympics, Moffit Cancer Center Foundation, and the Greater Miami Jewish Foundation just to name a few.
Furthermore, Warren Henry Auto Group is heavily involved in many local community organizations. The company is an active member of the Pinecrest Business Association, Latin Builders Association, St. Kevin’s Men’s Club, St. Patrick Church, Miami Dade Chamber of Commerce, Aventura Marketing Council, Gainesville Chamber of Commerce, and The Executives Association of Greater Miami. In addition, Warren is a Founding Member and Director of Floridian Community Bank, a Board Member of Keep Miami Gardens Beautiful, and a member of Miami Beach Chamber which allows him to stay current and active on policies that affect his business and the local economy.
It is clearly a testament to Warren’s business practices that he has been honored by several of South Florida’s most distinguished associations. Warren received the Buoniconti Spinal Award from the Buoniconti Foundation for his continued support and commitment. In addition, he has been honored with the following prestigious industry awards: the
Time Magazine Quality Dealer Award; the Women’s Choice Award; the Sports Illustrated Dealer of Distinction Award; The JD Power of Excellence Award; 25-year Jaguar dealer; multiple recipient of The President’s Circle award and Infiniti Award of Excellence; multiple recipient of the Land Rover Pinnacle Club award; multiple recipient of the Pride of Jaguar award; and multiple recipient of the Automotive News “100 Best Dealerships To Work For” including being named No.1.
Success, by Warren’s standards, is not measured by the number of dealerships owned – it is the partnership of this growth and the actions taken to better himself, his clients and his community that truly defines success.
Warren lives in Miami Beach with his longtime partner Vicki and is a proud parent to daughter Katy and son Larry. Following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, Larry joined the family business in 2008 at the age of 21 – the same age his father began his career in the automotive industry. Moving up the corporate ladder, Larry is now General Manager, Principal of Lamborghini Broward, and is poised to carry on the Zinn family legacy.
