LAND ROVER CELEBRATES 50th ANNIVERSARY OF RANGE ROVER

North Miami, FL (September 11th, 2020) –Land Rover celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Range Rover with its new special edition called the “Fifty”. This spectacular special edition has really exceptional features like the badges containing the word “Fifty” in script lettering located in the dashboard and next to the cup holder or the distinctive palette of colors similar to the first Range Rovers back in 1970. This special edition will be limited to just 1970 units because 1970 was the year that the Range Rover was first introduced!

When this amazing vehicle first debuted in 1970, the Range Rover was the first SUV to feature its lasting four-wheel drive. In 1989, it became the first 4×4 to be fitted with anti-lock brakes but not only that, years later, had it become the first vehicle to be displayed in the famous Louvre Museum in Paris.

That being said, the Range Rover Fifty, special edition, is based on the already luxurious Autobiography trim level and will be available in both standard and long-wheelbase body styles. In North America, the sole engine choice will be Land Rover’s muscular supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 making 518 horsepower and 461 LB-FT of torque. Being a special edition and all, the Range Rover Fifty has plenty of bespoke features, like exterior accents painted in Auric Atlas color and two unique 22-inch wheel designs. The special palette carries four standard colors like: the Carpathian Grey, Rosello Red, Aruba, and Santorini Black.
