LAMBORGHINI BROWARD ENJOYS THE 61st ROLEX 24 AT DAYTONA
Daytona, FL (January 28, 2023) – Lamborghini Broward, a division of Warren Henry Auto Group, invited a small group of passionate Lamborghini clients for a weekend in Daytona to watch the annual Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona. To kick off the weekend, guests enjoyed dinner at a local restaurant and got the opportunity to get to know one another before the weekend’s festivities fully kicked into high gear.
The morning of the race, Lamborghini Broward clients were invited to experience hot laps on the famed track. Guests had an amazing experience and are eagerly awaiting next year’s race to get back on the track. They then headed over to the Lamborghini hospitality suite for a prime view of the race. As the race kicked off, guests enjoyed a catered lunch and some shopping at the Lamborghini-dedicated merch display. Throughout the weekend, guests mingled with Lamborghini clients from across the country and special Lamborghini representatives including the Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., Stephan Winkelmann.
This year, Lamborghini entered 5 racing teams including a new submission of the Evo2 generation of the Huracan GT3 race car. The No. 63 car was driven by former F1 driver Romain Grosjean along with Mirko Bortolotti, Andrea Caldarelli, and Jordan Pepper. They finished fourth in their class with a lap behind the winning Mercedes-AMG GT3 and Chevrolet’s Corvette C8.R. Iron Lynx also raced two cars in GTD, with the experienced Raffaele Giammaria and Claudio Schiavoni partnered by Factory Driver Franck Perera and Rapid Am driver Rolf Ineichen in the #19 car. The #83 Iron Dames team retained the same driver line-up, Rahel Frey, joined by Michelle Gatting, Doriane Pin and Sarah Bovy. Long-time Super Trofeo North America competitors.
US RaceTronics contended a #78 Huracán GT3 EVO2 driven by Loris Spinelli, who is partnered by last year’s International GT Open co-champion Benja Hites, Factory Driver Mapelli and Canadian Misha Goikhberg. Completing the five-car entry is the #42 NTE Sport with Jaden Conwright, Alessio Deledda, Don Yount and Kerong Li.
Clients enjoyed the thrill of the race not only from the stands but also had the opportunity to go down into the pit where the excitement continued. Lamborghini Broward was pleased to host another client trip to enjoy the 24 Hours at Daytona. This year was even more exciting than the last, and we look forward to continuing to support the Lamborghini Squadra Corse team as they navigate the rest of the race season.
