KEYS AUTO CENTER DONATES PATROL CAR FOR AUTISM AWARENESS

July 2nd, 2025 by

A brightly colored Key West Police SUV is parked outdoors near palm trees and a mural-covered building. The vehicle features a custom wrap in shades of purple, blue, and white with "POLICE" and "Key West" prominently displayed on the side.

We’re proud to share a wonderful act of community support! Keys Auto Center has donated a Ford Explorer to the Key West Police Department, and it’s now being used by School Resource Officer Christy Salter at Gerald Adams Elementary.

This isn’t just any police car—it’s been custom-wrapped by local business Deep Blue Printing Inc. in the school’s signature blue and purple colors, along with colorful handprints to represent unity and care. More importantly, the vehicle serves as a rolling reminder of the importance of autism awareness in our schools and neighborhoods.

The donation is part of a strong partnership between Keys Auto Center, the Autism Society of the Keys, and the Monroe County School District. Together, they’re helping create a safer, more inclusive environment for students and families. For more stories like this, visit our blog at warrenhenryauto.com and see how we’re giving back.
