FORD RECALLS 274,000 VEHICLES OVER BRAKE ISSUE — ARE YOU AFFECTED?
Ford Recall Announcement: What You Need to Know
Recently, Ford recalled 274,000 Ford and Lincoln vehicles due to potential brake issues. The recall, announced last Friday, affects approximately 222,300 Ford Expeditions and 50,000 Lincoln Navigators. The issue is that the front brake lines in these vehicles might be touching the engine’s air cleaner outlet pipe due to incorrect installation. This could lead to a brake fluid leak and potentially cause the brakes to take longer to respond
No accidents have been reported so far due to this defect. Still, Ford urges all owners of the affected Ford Expeditions and Lincoln Navigators to get their vehicles inspected and repaired promptly.
