What powers the Wagoneer?
While every trim of the Wagoneer comes with the same engine, it’s one of the most powerful ones on the market. When you lift the hood, you’ll find that the Wagoneer comes with a 5.7-liter V8 which pumps out a pavement-pounding 392 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque which connects to a smooth-sailing eight-speed automatic transmission. In addition to all of this power, the Wagoneer has several pieces of technology that assist with fuel economy. This engine has an eTorque system that comes with a 48-volt battery designed to fill the gap shifts. Along with improving the fuel economy, the engine’s stop/start capability is also enhanced. Want to haul around a ton of material? The Wagoneer is perfect as it can tow up to a class-leading 10,000 pounds.
